Judo Specialist Subcommittee – Information: Conference co-hosted with the All Japan Judo Federation 【Free for Members】

The Judo Specialist Subcommittee of the Japanese Academy of Budo will be holding a conference in collaboration with the All Japan Judo Federation (as the organiser) and other relevant organisations.

This conference will offer a deep examination of judo’s diverse contemporary challenges from macro and meta perspectives, integrating scientific insights with practical application. It will address essential practical themes for the future of budo and sport beyond judo itself, including long-term development models, injury and disability prevention (such as concussion), support for athletes with disabilities, evidence-based coaching methods, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

We warmly welcome all members of the Japanese Academy of Budo to actively participate, viewing it as an opportunity to deepen their understanding and insights through the consideration of issues within judo.
