We are pleased to announce that the 59th Annual Conference of the Japanese Academy of Budo (2026) will be held as outlined below.
[Major Changes and New Initiatives for This Year]
Starting this year, we are introducing several new initiatives and changes to further enrich your conference experience:

Change in Presentation Times: The session schedule has been modified from last year.

Introduction of the “Outstanding Presentation Award”: A new award has been established to recognize excellent research presentations.

Implementation of “Early Career Researcher Consultations”: We are creating a new space where early-career researchers can easily seek advice and consultation.

May 1: Abstract submission opens

May 29: Deadline for abstract submission (Required for all presenters)

July 18: Submission of presentation material URLs opens (Only for presenters who require it); Applications for Early Career Researcher Consultations open

August 14: Deadline for submitting presentation material URLs and applying for Early Career Researcher Consultations

August 28: Presentation material URLs published
